Roma Don’t Want To Sign Matteo Politano From Inter

Roma have zero interest in signing Matteo Politano from Inter according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Politano’s name was brought up by Inter in negotiations between the clubs over Edin Dzeko but the Giallorossi made it clear to their Nerazzurri’s counterparts that they had no interest in bringing the Italian international back to the club, where he spent time as a youth player.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that while there looks to finally be some movement on the Mauro Icardi exit front, the same cannot be said for Joao Mario, Radja Nainggolan, Borja Valero and Ivan Perisic.

When it comes to Nainggolan, a season long loan elsewhere seems the most likely exit route for him but this will only happen if a club pays €9 million for the loan.

As for Perisic, Inter have not received so much as an enquiry for the Croatian, who Inter are understood to value at around €30 million.
