Former Inter striker and current Jiangsu Suning FC striker Eder, was invited by Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang to join his former team for dinner after their International Champions Cup clash with Juventus.

The former Sampdoria man was interviewed by Inter TV after the dinner where he spoke about meeting his old teammates as well as life in China as a footballer.

“Today afternoon I received a call from the President because he wanted me to come to the dinner. It was a pleasure to see my teammates again as well as the coach Conte and Oriali, because I had not seen any of them for a long time.”

“You don’t forget having spent two years at Inter, many people were close to me and helped me. I was very happy to see everyone again.”

“I like it a lot here in China, in a week’s time exactly one year will have passed since I came here. I haven’t still learned the language, it is very difficult.”

“Since arriving I have scored 19 goals in 33 matches. Many of my teammates have helped me. It is a football that is growing, a very fast game. There’s not a lot of tactics involved, even if a lot of important coaches from our league are here.”
