Inter Have ‘Seven Days’ To Present Man Utd A Satisfactory Offer For Romelu Lukaku

Manchester United have given Inter seven days to make them a satisfactory offer for Romelu Lukaku, according to The Mirror in England.

Antonio Conte still dreams of signing the Belgian to reinforce his attacking options for the new season.

But United will need time to find a replacement if they are to sell, with the Premier League transfer window closing on 8 August.

Inter face a race against time to secure their new head coach’s top transfer target, after Conte criticised the lack of transfer activity in a press conference last week.

Lukaku missed Saturday’s friendly between the clubs in Singapore, which United won thanks to a late goal from Mason Greenwood.

Conte’s side play Juventus later today in the International Champions Cup, but Inter will again be without first-choice centre-forwards.

Samuele Longo and Sebastiano Esposito started at the National Stadium and the former could be replaced by George Puscas this afternoon.

Conte wanted Lukaku to arrive in time for the preseason tour in Asia, but it remains to be seen whether the United outcast will arrive at all.
