Daniele Padelli received Gazzetta dello Sport’s highest player rating today following Inter’s preseason friendly against Juventus.

The Italian replaced Samir Handanovic in goal at half-time and pulled off two highly impressive saves on Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s free-kick levelled the match after Matthijs De Ligt’s own goal had given Inter the lead, with Juve ultimately winning on penalties.

Stefano Sensi, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic, Stefan de Vrij and Roberto Gagliardini all received 6.5 in this morning’s paper.

Perisic was playing in an unfamiliar second striker role for him but Antonio Conte said he was impressed with his performance.

Milan Skriniar, Samir Handanovic, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Antonio Candreva, Dalbert and Sebastiano Esposito were all given 6.

Conte had 7/10, as Gazzetta assured his side was already beginning to resemble those from his managerial past.

Inter’s final match on their Asian tour will be against Paris Saint-Germain in Macao, on Saturday.

The Nerazzurri then return to Europe where their last preseason games will be against Tottenham and Valencia.
