It is growing increasingly complicated by the day for Ivan Rakitic to remain with Spanish club Barcelona according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.

Manager Ernesto Valverde’s recent comments coupled with Sergi Roberto now coming into the midfield are two of the biggest clues that the Croatian’s days with the Blaugrana are numbered.

The midfield maestro, who played a pivotal role in Croatia reaching the 2018 World Cup final, still has two years left on his contract with Barca, who have no intention of prolonging his contract.

The report goes on to state that Inter has always been interested in him since they sparked an interest in recent months but due to various reasons the Nerazzurri were not able to complete a deal for him.

Mundo Deportivo go on to conclude that the player’s situation has absolutely changed and he is definitely on the transfer list at the Nou Camp.
