Speaking to Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV, Inter youngster Facundo Colidio has insisted that whilst new manager Antonio Conte’s sessions have been difficult, it will all be worth it.
“I am tired but all is otherwise good. The coach’s methods are being understood. We are doing hard and intense training sessions that will be good for everyone,” he started.
He proceeded to share his feelings following his substitute appearance in the 1-0 friendly loss to Manchester United a few days ago.
“Coming on as a substitute against Manchester United was a great feeling as they are a very important team.”
The 19-year-old Argentine, who has been with the club since a 2017 move from Boca Juniors, concluded by speaking on the support he and his Nerazzurri teammates have receieved on the pre-season tour of Asia.
“I did not expect the welcome we have been given. I am both surprised and excited.”
