Juventus have always been given as favourites to secure Icardi but they must sell one or two of their centre-forwards before this can realistically happen.

Dybala reportedly rejected a swap deal with Icardi last week and could thwart the Old Lady’s advances on the 26-year-old.

Icardi is training alone at Appiano Gentile as Inter complete the final few days of their preseason tour in Asia.

His age and his ability to guarantee 20 goals per season are two reasons Napoli consider him the biggest opportunity of this summer’s transfer window.
