Paulo Dybala’s future at Juventus could determine whether or not Napoli succeed in their bid to sign Mauro Icardi, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has been in constant contact with Maurito and Wanda Nara since making a first approach 20 days ago.
Aurelio De Laurentiis has also held a secret meeting with Inter’s CEO Beppe Marotta, in an attempt to understand what sort of price Icardi would cost.
Juventus have always been given as favourites to secure Icardi but they must sell one or two of their centre-forwards before this can realistically happen.
Dybala reportedly rejected a swap deal with Icardi last week and could thwart the Old Lady’s advances on the 26-year-old.
Icardi is training alone at Appiano Gentile as Inter complete the final few days of their preseason tour in Asia.
His age and his ability to guarantee 20 goals per season are two reasons Napoli consider him the biggest opportunity of this summer’s transfer window.
