Inter are expected to receive an offer from Sampdoria for Radja Nainggolan in the coming days.

La Repubblica this morning reported Blucerchiati owner Massimo Ferrero wants to make a high-profile signing for new boss Eusebio Di Francesco.

Nainggolan wants to stay in Italy after scoring seven goals in a difficult debut campaign for Inter.

Di Francesco coached the Ninja during the 2017-18 season at Roma, although the pair did not always see eye to eye.

Inter are keen to offload both Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic as the Nerazzurri try to raise more money for their incoming deals.

Romelu Lukaku appears unobtainable at present unless one of the club’s big players leaves, which Inter would probably hope is Mauro Icardi.

Nainggolan has traveled to Asia with Antonio Conte’s side for their preseason tour, but he has sat out both of Inter’s first two games against Manchester United and Juventus.

The 30-year-old is also likely to be excluded from Saturday’s final match against Paris Saint-Germain, with Conte showing no signs of reintegrating him into the squad.
