Roma will not reduce their demands for striker Edin Dzeko according to a report from Sky Sport journalist Angelo Mangiante.
Inter and Roma have been in talks for some time over the Bosnian forward and Mangiante has revealed that there is still some distance between the clubs that needs overcome.
“He has a one year contract left at Roma and they are willing to lose him for nothing at the end of next season. They paid €14 million for him a few years ago and they will not drop their €20 million requests for him.
“Not even €19.5 million would be enough to take him away from the capital. The Roma leadership will not back down.
He concluded: “It has now become a chess game because the player has a three year deal in place with Inter, but at the moment there is still a distance of about €8 million between Inter’s offer and Roma’s requests.”
