Joao Miranda is discussing his future with Inter this afternoon after arriving at the club’s headquarters in Milan earlier.

The Brazilian is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans for the coming season and was reportedly close to joining the Nerazzurri’s sister club Jiangsu Suning last night.

Miranda had previously stated he wanted to stay in Milan but this now appears a remote possibility at best.

Intercepted by Sky Sport, the defender said: “I don’t know if I’ll stay at Inter. I’m going to talk with the club now.”

Miranda fell behind Stefan de Vrij in Inter’s defensive pecking order last season and made only 14 appearances in Serie A.

He has one year left on his deal and the club would like to sell him now so they can secure at least some kind of fee.

Miranda joined Inter from Atletico Madrid in 2015 and has since made 121 appearances in all competitions.
