Joao Miranda decided to leave Inter for Jiangsu Suning after speaking to the Nerazzurri’s former forward Eder, according to Tuttosport.
The Italian-Brazilian made the same move last summer and has scored eight goals in the Chinese Super League this season.
Miranda has signed a deal through to December 2021 with Jiangsu and will earn €4.5 million net annually.
Inter officially announced the centre-back had resolved his contract by mutual consent yesterday.
Suning’s move to bring Miranda to Jiangsu underlined their commitment to both clubs they own, not just Inter.
The Zhang family are now hoping to complete their biggest signing yet by purchasing Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.
The Welsh international has no future in Spain after falling out with Zinedine Zidane and will cost around €55 million.
Jiangsu, who are managed by former Saudi Arabia boss Cosmin Olaroiu, are seventh in the Super League table after 19 games, with their next match coming against struggling Shenzen FC tomorrow afternoon.
