Joao Miranda last night assured Inter fans he will always have a soft spot for the Nerazzurri after completing a move to Jiangsu Suning.

Inter announced a ‘mutual contract termination agreement’ had been reached between the club and the centre-back on Friday, bringing Miranda’s four-year stint in Milan to an end.

The 34-year-old made 121 appearances for Inter in all competitions, but lost his place in the side to Stefan de Vrij last season.

“My journey in this great and glorious club ends today,” Miranda wrote on Instagram.

“Inter welcomed me with huge warmth and I’m very grateful for everything I’ve experienced in these four marvelous years.

“I’d like to thank everyone who has taken part in and accompanied me on my journey.

“It’s been an honour to wear the Inter shirt and you can be certain that wherever I go I’ll always be rooting for you!”
