Inter have not made any progress today in their bids to sign Romelu Lukaku or Edin Dzeko, according to the Nerazzurri’s CEO Beppe Marotta.

Juventus now appear to be favourites to sign the Belgian while Roma seem hellbent on holding out for €20 million with Dzeko.

Marotta visited the Italian Football Federation’s headquarters in Rome today for a meeting and was intercepted by reporters while leaving.

He denied there was any news to deliver and added ‘not even for Dzeko’, when asked directly about the Bosnian.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported this evening that Paulo Dybala’s agent is in Manchester to meet United, moving Inter further away from signing Lukaku.

Antonio Conte will resume preseason training at Appiano Gentile tomorrow and he is unlikely to be in a happy mood.

Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez remain the only forwards at his disposal, with the former having been frozen out of the squad since the start of the summer.
