Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan will again be left out of Antonio Conte’s match-day squad when Inter face Tottenham on Sunday, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Both players will resume preseason training with the rest of the first team when the Nerazzurri return to Appiano Gentile tomorrow.

However, Conte is showing no sign of reintegrating either properly and remains adamant they are not part of his plans.

Lautaro Martinez flew into Milan yesterday as El Toro prepares to rejoin his teammates, while Kwadwo Asamoah is due to arrive this afternoon.

Both Lautaro and Asamoah had their summer holidays delayed after representing Argentina and Ghana respectively at major tournaments last month.

Conte could give the forward his debut as early as Sunday when Inter play Spurs in the International Champions Cup, but it is more likely that will happen against Valencia on 10 August.

Inter’s new boss was forced to work without first-choice forwards during last week’s tour in Asia, but he now has a key reinforcement up front as he awaits Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko.

Matteo Politano will also return to training soon as the forward finishes his recovery from a thigh injury.
