Pavel Nedved Refuses To Confirm Juventus Interest For Inter Target Lukaku

Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved refused to confirm the Bianconeri are interested in Romelu Lukaku tonight.

Inter have been in talks with Manchester United over a deal for the Belgian for weeks, but it seems increasingly unlikely the clubs will reach an agreement.

Juve are widely reported to have hijacked negotiations and offered United a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala.

“I’m not going to go into detail on any targets, Fabio Paratici can do that,” Nedved told reporters in Milan.

“We receive offers and approaches, yes. We’re working on things, we have offers and we’re feeling calm. Let’s wait for the serious developments.

“We feel like we’re a strong side and this is normal, just like other teams do. We’re looking to reinforce our squad and we’ll see what shape we’re in when the season starts.”

Nedved predicted Juve’s eighth consecutive title defence, which will begin against Parma on 25 August, would be ‘interesting and difficult’.

“Everything will be decided on the final day of the season,” the former Czech Republic international suggested.
