Borja Valero has no chance of leaving Inter to rejoin Fiorentina this summer, according to the midfielder’s agent Alejandro Camano.
The Viola are being frequently linked with their former player at the moment, with Vincenzo Montella and Daniele Prade both keen to resign him.
Camano denied this was a realistic prospect for the moment, though, despite confirming Valero still loved the city of Florence.
“Fiorentina is the team Borja loves and Florence is the city which adopted him as one of their own,” Camano told Radio Kiss Kiss today.
“However, he still has one year on his contract with Inter, who spent a lot of money on his transfer fee and wages.
“With that in mind, I don’t think we have any chance of leaving at the moment.”
Valero made 27 league appearances for Inter last season, as Inter finished fourth under Luciano Spalletti.
The Spaniard provided one assists on 29 October, when the Nerazzurri beat Lazio 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.
