Inter’s academy forward Felice D’Amico officially completed a move to Sampdoria this morning.

The Nerazzurri are expected to receive a substantial cut of any future transfer fee Samp secure for the youngster, although no source has specified how much.

D’Amico scored seven goals in the Campionato Primavera last season, spending six months with Inter before moving on loan to Chievo in January.

“FC Internazionale Milano confirm Felice D’Amico has joined U.C. Sampdoria on a temporary deal with an obligation to make it permanent,” Inter’s statement read on their website.

D’Amico joined Inter from Palermo last summer and has yet to make his first-team debut, which Samp could perhaps grant him under Eusebio Di Francesco.

His former Primavera teammate Marco Pompetti is due to follow him to Genova soon, although the midfielder would only sign on loan.

Pompetti made 41 appearances in all competitions last year and provided 12 assists in total, including two against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Youth League.
