Beppe Marotta has messaged Paulo Dybala to ask the forward to reject Manchester United and join Inter instead, according to Sport Mediaset.

Dybala needs to accept the Red Devils’ offer in order for Juventus to complete a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

Inter are not out of the race completely yet and will continue the monitor to the situation regarding the Belgian.

However, Marotta has always been keen on bringing Dybala to Inter and is trying to thwart his former club’s transfer plans with an incredible move.

Inter’s CEO told La Joya he would be more suited to Inter than United because the Nerazzurri have Antonio Conte and could guarantee Champions League football.

Dybala was due to meet Juve’s new boss Maurizio Sarri this afternoon to discuss his future with the Bianconeri.

Corriere dello Sport reported similar news on Thursday morning, claiming Dybala had expressed an interest in joining Inter for the first time.

Marotta attempted to arrange a swap with Mauro Icardi last month, but the 25-year-old did not seem interested at the time.
