Inter are waiting for Radja Nainggolan to make a decision on his future with Fiorentina and Cagliari both interested, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have agreed a loan deal with Fiorentina’s sporting director Daniele Prade, who pledged to pay €3 million of the midfielder’s €4.5 million annual salary.
Cagliari are only capable of offering €1.5 million, but Nainggolan would rather return there than move to Florence at the moment.
“Nainggolan could be of interest for Fiorentina as they look to add muscles and experiences to their young group of players,” Gazzetta reported this morning.
“It was Piero Ausilio who got in touch with Prade, telling him Inter were willing to sell him on loan and pay his wages for July and perhaps August. Prade took note of this unexpected approach.”
Inter would be damaged financially if they agreed to pay two thirds of Nainggolan’s wages while he played for Cagliari.
The Nerazzurri are therefore hoping the Ninja reconsiders Fiorentina’s offer and agrees to move there instead.
Fiorentina are not in a hurry to sign the 31-year-old and will wait for a change of heart.
