Inter could yet revive their interest in a swap deal with Juventus involving Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala, according to La Stampa.

Juve are closing in on agreement that would see Romelu Lukaku join the Bianconeri and Dybala move to Manchester United, but La Joya has not accepted this yet.

Dybala is ‘disappointed’ with Juventus for including him in their talks with United and met Maurizio Sarri to discuss his future earlier.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are not interested in the 25-year-old while Paris Saint-Germain are only offering €50 million, which means Inter could be a realistic option later this month.

Everything depends on today’s talks between Dybala and Sarri, which had the power to sanction or scupper Juve’s Lukaku deal.

Dybala wanted to play under Sarri this year and indirectly confirmed his desire to stay last night, ‘liking’ an Instagram post in which a supporter asked him not to leave.

The forward’s agent met United for talks in London last night but asked for a five-year deal worth €10 million annually, in order to accept a move.

Fabio Paratici also flew into England last night to accelerate the sale of the 25-year-old, who joined Juve from Palermo for €40 million in 2015.

Inter have been following Lukaku all summer but they seem out of the race as Juve and United’s talks continue.

The Nerazzurri are not showing any sign of wanting to improve their offer soon, but they appear to still be interested in Dybala.

Corriere dello Sport this morning claimed Beppe Marotta had messaged Paulo to ask him to reject United’s advances.

Icardi would be unable to join Juve if Lukaku moved there, but his Argentina teammate could stop that from happening if he puts his foot down.
