Inter’s upcoming preseason friendlies against Tottenham and Valencia will be their last before the new Serie A campaign begins.
The Nerazzurri have no fixture scheduled for 17-18 August and it was thought they might arrange one last test for Antonio Conte’s side.
However, Corriere dello Sport today confirmed they would finish their preparation against the La Liga outfit on 10 August.
Inter’s first Serie A fixture will be against newly-promoted Lecce on 26 August, before they play Cagliari the following week.
Conte is giving his players no respite in training this week and oversaw another tough double session on Friday.
Inter will fly to London tomorrow before their final International Champions Cup match of the summer, to be played at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Manchester United beat them in their tournament opener in Singapore before Juventus held them to a draw in Nanjing, eventually prevailing in a penalty shoot-out.
Inter responded by overcoming Paris Saint-Germain from the spot in Macao, following an encouraging performance during normal time.
Conte has 180 minutes of action left to fine-tune his new-look side as much as possible, before Lecce come calling in three weeks.
