Coco: “Inter Surprised Me With Their Physicality Against Spurs, They Need To Make Further Moves In The Market”

Former Inter defender Francesco Coco has shared his views on Inter’s performance in their penultimate pre-season friendly over Tottenham Hotspur.

“It was an interesting game even though it finished 1-1. I was surprised by the physicality that Inter played with and they have grown,” he remarked in the Sport Italia studios following this afternoon’s match.

“Inter managed the game well and Marcelo Brozovic and Antonio Candreva were the best players on the pitch for Inter.”

Coco then spoke on what he is expecting from Inter in the remainder of the transfer market.

“For sure Inter need to add to their attack. With Mauro Icardi out, they only have Lautaro Martinez and with Inter wanting to do what they want to do, that is not enough, with all due respect to Lautaro who is a very good player. Another midfielder is needed too and another wing back. Inter is slowly making upgrade and will return slowly.
