Inter Boss Antonio Conte Stays Tight-Lipped On Dybala-Lukaku Swap Rumours

Antonio Conte refused to be drawn on Juventus and Manchester United’s talks to swap Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala tonight.

Both the Telegraph and the Mail reported in England this evening that United had withdrawn their interest for Dybala, put off by the player’s reluctance to accept a move.

Conte admitted he did not know what would happen in the next few days, although it seems unlikely Inter can secure Lukaku now.

He said: “Lukaku is a good player, a player I tried to sign in the past when I was managing Chelsea.

“We’re talking about two great clubs in Juventus and Inter but I honestly don’t know how this story is going to finish.

“My focus is on continuing to work with this group so that I can improve the team’s mechanisms and its mentality.

“Let’s keep working in the best manner possible. I know there are a few gaps to fill in the squad but I’m very confident. I’m working with a great group of players who are giving me real satisfaction.”
