Juventus have grown pessimistic about their chances of signing Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku whilst Inter are unwilling to raise their offer according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Bianconeri were looking to pull off a swap deal for the Belgian that would see Paulo Dybala head in the opposite direction to Old Trafford but United have struggled to convince Dybala.
United are slightly put off by Dybala’s agents exorbitant comission fees and are still a bit away from meeting his desire €10 million annual salary.
As for Inter, the Nerazzurri will not go any higher than the €60 million plus €5 million in bonuses that they have already offered the red devils, due to needing to sign two strikers, which has not been helped by Mauro Icardi wanting to stay.
The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that if the swap between Juventus and United collapses, the idea of Dybala and Icardi swapping clubs could well come back to the forefront.
