Inter have already identified their plan b in the shape of Ante Rebic in the event they are forced to give up in their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter have faced great difficulty in dealing with Manchester United for the Belgian striker and it was therefore only sensible for the Nerazzurri to begin considering alternatives.

The report states that there has been contact made between Inter officials and the Croatian’s representatives today over a potential move for the 25-year-old.

Rebic is an entirely different player to Lukaku but one that could still fit alongside Edin Dzeko in the attack, should Inter manage to get a deal done for the Roma striker.

The Turin based newspaper also state that Inter’s alleged previous interest in Fluminense’s Pedro, Lyon’s Moussa Dembele and Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric has cooled and the trio could well prove to be plan C’s but for the time being Inter are not thinking about that.
