Inter Back In The Running For Lukaku After Juventus’ Move For Him Collapses

Following the collapse of the proposed swap deal between Juventus and Manchester United involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, Inter are now back in the race to sign the latter according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lukaku is believed to be Inter’s number one transfer target but the Nerazzurri are still very much reluctant to meet the red devils €83 million demands for the Belgian international.

United are adamant to reduce their demands largely due to the fact they have very little time to replace the Belgian with the English transfer window due to shut in just three days time.

The Milan based newspaper refuse to rule out that a deal could still be reached after the English transfer window deadline though.

Lukaku has been with United for two seasons and scored 15 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions last term in what was a bit of a down year by his standards.
