Inter & Fiorentina Could Swap Politano & Biraghi

Fiorentina have shown an interest in signing Matteo Politano from Inter according to a report from Tuscany based news outlet La Nazione.

La Viola have identified the Italian international as a player who could strengthen their attack with them keen to avoid a repeat of last season where they very nearly found themselves relegated.

Politano has only just joined Inter on a permanent basis after the Nerazzurri took up their option to sign him on a permanent basis from Sassuolo after an initial one season loan deal.

Due to the system Inter manager Antonio Conte has in place, Politano cannot play in his preferred wing position and it looks like his only option will to be played as a second striker.

The report from La Nazione goes on to state that there could a possible swap deal on the horizon between Fiorentina and Inter that would see Cristiano Biraghi head in the opposite direction whilst Politano would head to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
