Inter have overtaken Juventus in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku for two reasons according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The first reason is because Juventus’ move for the Belgian looks to have completely collapsed after Paulo Dybala rejected the idea of joining Manchester United as a swap deal that would see Lukaku head in the opposite direction.
The second reason is down to Inter further re-iterating to the player that they have a strong desire to bring him to the club despite the difficulties they have faced in the dealing with Manchester United.
Inter have also reportedly made a new and improved offer for Lukaku of around €80 million and Juventus management are well aware that they have fallen behind.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that Juventus could still try to sign Lukaku by offering veteran striker Mario Mandzukic plus cash.
