Inter will soon offer Manchester United more than €70 million in yet another attempt to sign Romelu Lukaku, according to Sky Sport.

Juventus seemed destined to sign the Belgian international after setting up a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala.

However, La Joya’s reluctance to join United has seen talks fall apart and given the Nerazzurri a second chance.

Antonio Conte wants two forwards before the transfer window closes and has made no secret Lukaku is his first choice.

Inter are also working on deals for Ante Rebic and Edin Dzeko and met the latter’s agent at their club offices today.

Silvano Martina was told the Nerazzurri still intend to reach an agreement with Roma and bring the Bosnian to San Siro, despite another €15 million offer being rejected last week.

Roma have been holding out for €20 million and reportedly wanted to offer Dzeko a new deal to stay in the capital.

Conte made his two main transfer targets crystal clear, though, and it seems his employers have not given up on signing both.
