With a possible swap deal looking dead in the water, Juventus could offer a cash only deal for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku according to a report from La Repubblica.
The Bianconeri are understood to have proposed attacker Paulo Dybala in exchange for the Belgian but Dybala’s wage demands coupled with his agents comission demands have left the swap deal looking unlikely.
Manchester United are believed to be demanding in excess of €80 million for Lukaku and as things stand, Inter are the only club to have made a cash offer.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly seen a bid totalling €65 million rejected whilst some other reports state Inter have made a fresh bid closer to United’s demands but it is as yet unclear if it will be enough.
With the English transfer window due to close in the coming days, both Inter and Juventus will need to move quickly if they wish to secure Lukaku.
