Pescara and Brescia remain the most likely destinations for Inter midfielder Rigoberto Rivas this summer, according to FcInterNews.it.

Nobody has made a serious approach to the Nerazzurri yet, meaning his future will not be decided until the very end of the transfer window.

Cremonese were previously linked to Rivas but they are now studying other players, while Sporting Braga’s interest also appears to have faded.

Rivas made 13 appearances for Ternana in Serie C last season, as the Fere slumped to a disappointing 11th-place finish in Group B.

Asked about his future recently, Rivas told reporters: “I still don’t know anything, but as soon as I return to Italy I’ll talk to my agent and the club about this situation.

“There are a few offers but I have to decide with my agent.”

The midfielder made his senior international debut for Honduras last month, playing 75 minutes in a 1-1 friendly draw against Paraguay.

He scored eight goals for Inter’s Primavera side before graduating from the Nerazzurri’s youth system in 2017.
