Inter’s Italian fullback Danilo D’Ambrosio is very happy working under new coach Antonio Conte he told Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia moments ago.

Earlier today, reports broke that the former Torino man would be offered a contract extension with the club, something that his agent all but confirmed when he visited Inter’s headquarters earlier today.

D’Ambrosio himself however underlined that nothing had been signed yet and that he is just very happy with the faith being showed in him by the club as well as the coach.

“I can’t say anything, it has been a tiresome day due to the training sessions. I get along really well with Antonio Conte, he is a great coach.”

“I am very happy for the faith showed in me but the contracts have not been signed yet.”

D’Ambrosio joined Inter in January 2014 and has since then featured 177 times for the Nerazzurri across all competitions scoring on 12 occasions.
