Inter held talks with George Puscas’ agent today at the club’s offices in Milan, as Championship sides Birmingham and Reading fight to sign the forward.

Reading appear favourites to secure the 23-year-old’s services for now, with the Nerazzurri seeking a fee in the region of €10 million.

Inter are hoping to use the money they receive from Puscas to finance incoming deals, most notably those for Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko.

Crescenzo Cecere was told his client will be sold on a permanent deal, having scored nine goals on loan for Palermo last year.

Puscas was due to join the Rosanero for good in June, but Palermo had to default on their payment after failing to register for Serie B.

The Romania under-21 international has also had spells with Bari, Novara and Benevento, scoring his only goal in Serie A to date for the latter in December 2017.

Antonio Conte is training Puscas at Appiano Gentile for now but it is only a matter of time before Inter send him elsewhere.
