Inter have received an approach from Spanish side Valladolid for their outgoing striker Gabriel Barbosa, according to FcInterNews.it.

Gabigol is determined to resurrect his reputation in Europe after disappointing spells with the Nerazzurri and Benfica.

Inter have the striker under contract until 2022 and need €18-20 million to avoid making a net loss.

The Nerazzurri’s former striker Ronaldo is a majority shareholder at Valladolid and could prove the key to winning over the 22-year-old.

Gabigol is on loan at Flamengo until 31 December and could join them permanently for €15 million thereafter.

He is also being followed by Dynamo Moscow, however, as well as Flamengo’s Brazilian rivals Palmeiras.

Inter want to sell Gabigol this month and use the money to reinforce their pursuit of Edin Dzeko, but time is running out for the Bosnian.

Antonio Conte wants two strikers before the transfer window shuts and the Roma forward is one of his preferred targets, along with Romelu Lukaku.
