Inter have agreed a deal with Manchester United to sign Romelu Lukaku for a total fee of €78 million, according to Sky Sport.

The Nerazzurri offered €65 million up front plus €13 million in bonuses earlier today, along with an unspecified percentage of any future transfer fee, which was accepted by the Red Devils.

Sky’s colleagues in the UK believe the fee for Lukaku is a little higher, or rather €70.4 million plus €13 million in add-ons.

In any case, Fabrizio Romano reported that the clubs were now preparing to exchange paperwork, with a possible medical as early as tomorrow.

Lukaku’s arrival at Inter does not appear to be in any doubt, given that various sources in Italy and England are all reporting the same news.

Juventus seemed close to agreeing a deal for Lukaku last weekend, but Paulo Dybala’s decision to reject a United move caused everything to fall through.

The Bianconeri were hoping they could sell Dybala to Tottenham today and make another cash offer, but they appear to have run out of time.

Antonio Conte has been adamant he wants Lukaku from the start of the summer, and at long last he is about to get his man.
