Valentino Lazaro will be available for selection again when Inter play their final preseason friendly against Valencia on Saturday, according to Tuttosport.

The Austrian international picked up a thigh injury during the Nerazzurri’s tour in Asia and missed the matches against Manchester United, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham.

Kwadwo Asamoah, Alessandro Bastoni, Lautaro Martinez and Matias Vecino will all be involved for the first time after returning late from their summer holidays.

Diego Godin remains on the side-lines after sustaining a similar problem to Lazaro, which might see him miss Inter’s Serie A opener against Lecce.

Lazaro is likely to feature in the second half of the clash with Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium, much like Matteo Politano did against Spurs last weekend.

Inter lost their first prestige fixture against United but have since collected three encouraging draws, overcoming PSG and Tottenham on penalties.

Conte will not have any new forwards before Saturday’s trip to Spain but reports elsewhere on Wednesday suggested Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko were edging closer.

Lukaku’s agent has flown to England in a bid to secure a deal with Manchester United, while Dzeko is considering telling Roma that he will not play in any of their remaining preseason friendlies.
