Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala are both aware it is time for them to leave their respective clubs, according to La Stampa.

Both players’ entourage have denied reports suggesting they are looking for moves away, as Inter and Juventus seek to balance their books.

However, the idea of a sensational swap deal between the clubs has not disappeared and could become reality at the end of the transfer window.

Icardi and Dybala have had the smiles wiped off their faces in Milan and Turin this summer, so switching clubs could prove the shot in the arm they both need.

Inter’s dream is to recruit Dybala and have him complete their attacking line-up with Edin Dzeko, Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

Lukaku will officially complete his move to the Nerazzurri either today or tomorrow, having undergone a medical in Milan this morning.

Inter left nothing to chance in their bid to secure Lukaku for Antonio Conte and they will work with similar diligence to sign Dzeko.

The Bosnian was left on the bench for Roma’s friendly against Athletic Bilbao last night, before playing 22 minutes in the second half.
