Ivan Perisic could be set for a return to the Bundesliga this month after receiving two offers from Germany’s top flight, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Before coming to Inter in 2015, the Croatian spent two seasons with Borussia Dortmund before moving to Wolfsburg for another two years.
Inter will sell Perisic if a ‘serious offer’ arrives after Antonio Conte decided he was unsuited to playing at wing-back in his 3-5-2 system.
The Nerazzurri would sanction a departure if either club offered a loan deal worth €4-5 million and an obligation to buy for €18-20 million.
Perisic scored nine goals in all competitions last year as Inter secured another fourth-place finish in Serie A under Luciano Spalletti.
Conte has tried him as a second striker since ending his experiment to convert him at wing-back, but the 2018 World Cup finalist has not convinced in that position either.
Perisic has made 163 appearances for Inter, scoring 40 goals.
