Sevilla are strongly interested in signing Inter striker Gabriel Barbosa, according to Tuttosport.

Roma’s former sporting director Monchi views the 22-year-old as an ideal replacement for Wissam Ben Yedder, who seems destined to leave the La Liga side.

Gabigol is supposed to remain on loan with Flamengo until 31 December but Inter are likely to recall him earlier and sell him in Europe.

The Nerazzurri want €15-20 million for the striker, although Flamengo are due 5% of any fee should his time in Brazil be cut short.

Villarreal and Dynamo Moscow have also made approaches for Gabigol in recent weeks, who has rediscovered his scoring touch since returning home.

He has found the net nine times in 10 league games in 2019, having previously enjoyed a similarly successful spell back with Santos.

Inter signed Barbosa for €30 million in the summer of 2016 but never received any return on their investment.

Gabigol scored just once in nine appearances for the Nerazzurri, before moving to Benfica for the 2017-18 campaign.
