Gabriel Barbosa insists he has no interest in speculation regarding his future, despite Inter actively seeking a buyer for the forward.

The 23-year-old has resurrected his career back in Brazil, scoring nine goals in 10 league games for Flamengo in 2019.

Gabigol is due to remain on loan there until 31 December but Dynamo Moscow, Sevilla and Villarreal are all thought to be sniffing around.

He said: “If there were clubs interested I would have been notified. I don’t know what to say and honestly it doesn’t interest me.

“I’m not worried much about it because I think I’m doing well with Flamengo. I’m only thinking about my time here until December, with all due respect for the contract which ties me to Inter.”

Gabigol scored just one goal in nine appearances for Inter after joining in a €30 million deal from Santos in 2016.

The striker assured supporters he had no hard feelings towards the Nerazzurri and did not rule out a sensational return one day.

“I’m always cheering for Inter but at the moment my mind is on Flamengo,” he added.

“I was very young when I was in Milan and everything was happening to me at once. Things certainly didn’t work out as I’d hoped but it was a good experience.

“Playing at Inter gives you the credentials to become a great player. They taught me things I would never have imagined learning.”
