Ivan Perisic is considering his future after Inter agreed a loan deal with Bayern Munich, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Bundesliga giants would have an option to buy the midfielder for €30 million, a fee which matches Inter’s reported asking price.
Bayern are targeting Perisic on the left wing after missing out on a deal for Leroy Sane, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament with Manchester City this week.
Inter would save €8 million before tax in wages if Perisic joined the German champions this month.
Perisic scored nine goals for the Nerazzurri last season but is considered surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte.
Conte tried converting the Croatian into a wing-back for his 3-5-2 system, but the experiment ended after just one preseason friendly.
Perisic played as a second striker during Inter’s tour in Asia but it never seemed that would be more than just a stopgap.
Inter have decided to make a clean break from the past this summer by offloading each of their three key attacking players, with Radja Nainggolan already gone and Mauro Icardi likely to follow.
