Juventus hope they can sign Mauro Icardi from Inter without having to sacrifice Paulo Dybala in a swap deal, according to Tuttosport.

Dybala is expected to leave the club before the end of the transfer window, with Maurito the most likely candidate to fill the vacant spot.

However, the Bianconeri’s sporting director Fabio Paratici would prefer to sell Dybala to Paris Saint-Germain and then sign Icardi on the cheap.

“Before reconsidering the swap deal with Inter, he wants to explore other avenues for Dybala which would leave him in a stronger position for Icardi,” the paper reported.

“It would be one thing to swap the two Argentines, ensuring a large profit for both clubs, but it would be more advantageous to sign Maurito at the end of the window, perhaps even on loan given he is not part of Inter’s plans.”

Leonardo has just become PSG’s new sporting director and would be interested in bringing La Joya to Ligue 1.
