Inter have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich to send Ivan Perisic on loan, Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed this morning.

The Bavarian giants will pay €5 million for the initial loan and have an option to buy for a further €25 million.

Perisic must now decide whether to accept the move and a response is expected before the end of this weekend.

The Croatian will not be involved in tonight’s final preseason friendly as Inter play Valencia in the Trofeo Naranja.

Inter have decided to exclude Perisic from Antonio Conte’s match-day squad to avoid the risk of him picking up an injury.

Bayern were closing in on Manchester City forward Leroy Sane as their first-choice target, but the German international tore his anterior cruciate ligament in last weekend’s Community Shield.

Perisic is training on his own at Appiano Gentile today as Inter wait for developments on his future.

The 2018 World Cup finalist scored nine goals for the Nerazzurri last season but does not have a space in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
