Inter’s Italian international attacker Matteo Politano believes the team is in good physical condition and that things will only improve with 15 days left until the beginning of the Serie A, he told Inter TV after the friendly match against Valencia, which the Nerazzurri won on penalties.

“Our preparations are going well, I am looking to reach my peak condition and to learn to move the way the coach wants us to. In my opinion the team is in good shape, there are still 15 days left until the league begins. We are working a lot and physically I am doing well.”

Politano also believes that new signing, Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku will make the difference once he has had a chance to work and train more with the team.

“My impression of him is super positive, he is a player that makes the difference and we are very happy to have him with us.”
