Mauro Icardi is now open to moving to fellow Serie A club Roma according to a report from Rome based news outlet La Repubblica.

The Giallorossi have been in talks with his representatives in recent days and it is understood that his wife/agent Wanda Icardi is willing to negotiate with the capital city club.

It remains to be seen what Roma could come up with the 26-year-old Argentine but some reports have stated that they could explore a swap deal that would involve Edin Dzeko, who is a player Inter have been after for some time now.

The report goes on to state that the Icardi’s have realised that holding out for an offer from Juventus is a risky move as ultimately the Bianconeri may not actually come up with an offer.

Napoli are also understood to be interested in signing Icardi, who is under contract with Inter for a further two seasons.
