Inter will submit a new and improved offer to Roma as they look to finally get a deal done for striker Edin Dzeko according to a report from Sport Mediaset.

The Nerazzurri will raise their most recent offer of €15 million to €18 million in the hope that it will be enough to convince Roma into parting ways with the Bosnian striker, who Inter have been after for a few months now.

It has been possible for Inter to do this because of Ivan Perisic’s imminent transfer to Bayern Munich which will see Inter pocket €5 million due to the loan fee and potentially a further €25 million if the Bavarians take up their option to make the move permanent.

The report from the broadcaster goes on to state that midfielder Joao Mario is set to leave Inter for Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.

It also goes on to state that it remains to be seen whether Mauro Icardi will continue to wait for Juventus to make a move amid interest in his services from Napoli and Roma.
