Ivan Perisic will undergo a medical with Bayern Munich in the early part of this coming week ahead of his proposed transfer from Inter according to a report from German news outlet Spox.com.

Inter and Bayern have reached an agreement over an initial season long loan deal, which will cost the Bavarian’s €5 million with Bayern having the option to make the move permanent for a further sum of €25 million.

Should the medical go smoothly, Perisic will put pen to paper on his contract with Bayern and should be able to begin training with his new team starting from Wednesday.

He will also therefore be available to manager Niko Kovac for selection for Friday’s 2019/20 Bundesliga season opener at home to Hertha Berlin.

Experienced Croatian international Perisic grabbed nine goals and eights assists in 45 competitve appearances across all competitions for Inter last season in what was his fourth season at the club following a 2015 move from Wolfsburg.
