Gazzetta dello Sport have listed the main pros and cons to Inter’s performance in their final pre-season match against Spanish side Valencia last night.
After a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes, Inter went on to win the match after an 8-7 penalties victory.
Starting with the pros, the Milan based newspaper state: “When the midfield is able to relax, Inter now has more solutions to get in on goal. Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi and a slowly growing Nicolo Barella are proving to be compatible and a potentially dangerous combination.”
As for the cons they added: “If the Nerazzurri defence in the first pre-season outings had seemed watertight, against Valencia they suffered more than necessary with the back three sometimes left dangerously alone.”
