Croatian footballing legend Ivica Olic has sung the praises of Inter’s Ivan Perisic with his fellow Croatian set to join German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in the coming days.
“Ivan Perisic is a very interesting player and a great reinforcement. I played with him at Wolfsburg and have worked with him in my role as assistant of Croatia,” Olic remarked in an interview with German news outlet BILD.
“He is a high-level professional who always performs to his best. He has enormous amounts of quality, he has great physique and great experience on the pitch.”
Olic, who played 80 times across all competitions for the Bavarian club over a three year spell concluded: “He does not fit in at Inter in the new system Antonio Conte has put in place but Bayern Munich needs someone like him after the farewells of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. He is a player who can help immediately.”
