There has been visible progress made by Antonio Conte’s Inter over the course of pre-season but one area that has seen next to no progress is the attack and now Conte must sort it out before the season begins, Gazzetta dello Sport detail.

Due to Inter’s lack of strikers in pre-season, with Mauro Icardi excluded and Lautaro Martinez on international duty, Conte was forced to play 17-year-old Sebastiano Esposito and Samuele Longo as his strikers.

Now Lautaro Martinez is back whilst Romelu Lukaku has also now arrived to massively strengthen the attacking department and Matteo Politano has also recovered from injury.

In the next two weeks, Conte will have to get Martinez, Lukaku and Politano used to his methods and also get them fit too.

The report goes on to state that Conte could get more reinforcements for the attack in the next fortnight with Inter still hard at work trying to sign Edin Dzeko from fellow Serie A side Roma.
